I am Claire and I am coming to you BARE. When I was younger I dragged my Hello Kitty chair across the living room floor to use as a stage. I sat my parents down and told them about my biggest problem in life… which boy should I have a crush on, Jeff who had a staple in his head from an unknown injury or Michael P who had the greatest mullet of all time!
I was meant to tell my stories in an interactive and entertaining way. I won awards for acting as a member of the "Thrilling Thinkers" — a 4th grade Odyssey of the Mind group. I am known as the "Do Not Do Drugs" Girl Scout from a sketch comedy show I was in during college and I spent a decade studying improv as a member of ComedySportz Houston and small sessions at Chicago's Second City.
My real humor comes from the luck of my Irish heritage, a life with high highs and low lows and a sense of humor to ride the waves. I don't know if tragedy makes comedy or vice versa but one thing is certain — I can bring the most boring stories to life, but the truth is I don't have to because life's journey and the occasional poor decision making has handed me the best material on a silver platter.
Plot twists, reinventions, and a resume that reads like casting notes — I am here to blend professional comedic training with lived experience.
